Nice cozy tea room with a good but limited menu. Allergies, gluten free, diabetic all catered for. Breakfast yummy but all fried and to be honest a little greasy. Limited choice if you want something warm but don't eat meat or cheese. Really helpful staff, man's a bit of a slow coach so if he's there allow a bit of extra time, but again really polite and helpful. I had brunch there 3/3 days I was in that area. Food I thought was slightly over priced but the service was good so I overlooked that part. Would eat there again, believe they are open all year round. Cream tea is a must, homemade scones gorgeous X
We've just had one small breakfast with a mug of filter coffee and scrambled eggs with salmon with a pot of tea. Cost just over £12 The food was hot and really good quality. Both of us would score it 10/10 Really friendly service.

If we never got turned away from Angels Tea Room, we would never of found this jewel in the crown of Torquay. After a long day of exploring Torquay, I thought I would treat my partner to one of the best afternoon tea’s I’ve had and I’ve been fortunate to have afternoon tea in some say the best in the business. From the word go, my partner and myself where treated with great hospitality and a warm welcome to The Royal Windsor Tea Room. They couldn’t do enough for us, gave us space and time to read the detailed menu when we needed it, asked if we needed anything more when it was the right time to ask. When the food was brought to the table, everything was fresh and well presented. Freshly baked scones and a good range of delicious cakes where on offer. Overall great value for money for the quality of food that was served. A great business within the community and I wish them all the best for the future.
Very Pleasant Place excellent staff cream teas excellent. I’ve been a chef for over 15 years and there Lemmon drizzal cake the best I’ve ever had. Def will come again and see you. Keep up the great work guys. Thank you

Hot, fresh and delicious. Great service and even better food. Who knew pickled onion rings were a thing? They are, and I'm hooked! Can't wait to come back and try the cod bhajis.
Brilliant place for fish and chips, staff are lovely and the food very good. There are a few chairs inside so you can eat in. Everything well presented and packaged.

ME AND HUBBY ALWAYS POP IN HERE WHEN OUT FOR A WALK ON THE SEAFRONT. ALWAYS HAVE A CONE OF CHIPS AND CURRY SAUCE AND GOT TO SAY, THE CURRY SAUCE IS REALLY LOVELY, I COULD EAT IT JUST ON ITS OWN, LOVELY FRESH CHIPS TOO. THE FISH ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD TOO. STAFF ARE ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT AND THE PLACE IS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. ITS ALWAYS BUSY HERE, WHICH BASICALLY SAYS IT ALL!
Went on a Friday while on holiday. Got £3.50 mini fish & chips. Very nice. Not too greasy . My husband is gluten free and although they don't advertise it anywhere they DO gluten free batter(chips are already gluten free) we just asked if they did gluten free at the counter. so he got a GF mini fish & chips for the same price as mine £3.50 and he really enjoyed it. Thank you for catering for GF customers and not charging extra for it

Drakes was recommended to us whilst on holiday in Torquay and looking for some nice fish and chips. We were not disappointed. There was a large range of fish to choose from and everything, including the chips, was cooked freshly for us. I'd recommend the squid rings... delicious!
They always do me great gluten free fish and chips on a Monday or Tuesday. Great chips!

We were really pleased upon discovering this pub - uncrowded on a Wednesday evening. No TV, only low volume background music (late 60s - early 70s). Great pub meals. My wife had the local crab and avocado, followed by the local scallops. I had the plaice and shrimp with steamed vegetables: all excellent. Wine is very reasonable by the bottle. Service was friendly. Lots of interesting memorabilia on display. Complimentary WiFi. Luncheon service closes 14:30 daily
I went there recently with my wife on holiday. Lovely quaint old worldy bar leading to a larger restaurant. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend it 😀

Best Chinese takeaway coming out of South devon for sure and the staff (especially dave) are so friendly, kind and helpful :)
Haven't ordered for a while as had been greasy and not that good BUT WOW tonight it was amazing. The sweet and sour chicken in batter was so lean and big chunks. Rest of it was lush x

I always have a really great service anytime we go to or phone up this Chinese, I ordered from there and they cook it to include reasonable special requests or cooking type, such as I ask for my rice meals & chicken balls to be cooked ‘Well done’. Thomas, the owner, has always been a great guy to talk to when he delivers your food or when you talk to him at the shop. To this day I’ve never so far had a bad meal, other reviews complaining about food I could easily say are over reacting.
Very nice food at a reasonable price and a better than usual selection of bean curd dishes.

Very Nice Food and Service. Would definitely visit again.
We have eaten a takeaway of chicken tikka madras, lamb madras, mushroom fried rice and saag bahjee. Absolutely excellent, we ordered extra hot though, as previous wasn't very hot, it was tasty, hot and full of spicy flavours. Chicken was succulent. Sauce was full and rich. The saag was beautiful, full of flavour. Very very tasty Indian takeaway. The best in Paignton and we have tried quite a few of them.

Ordered a take away here for a dozen people. An excellent service. Arrived when they said. There were lots of different orders and no mistakes they also added additional poppadoms and naan on the house. The food was authentic and delicious. Still hot as well and very reasonably priced. Would recommend this place for anyone visiting Torquay and after a takeaway. Hopefully they will keep up the good work
Indian takeaway with free parking on road outside. Lovely waiting area with a couple of couches and magazines for your perusal. Really friendly and helpful staff who were knowledgeable about the menu dishes I arrived just after 7pm on a Saturday night and waited just over 10 minutes for my food to be freshly prepared. I ordered the set menu for one with chicken dansak which cost £9.50. Arrived home and decanted the meal from the paper bag and aluminium containers so a big well done with the green credentials! The food was excellent - probably the best dansak I have tasted this side of the Black Country. The rice was succulent and the mint sauce was exceptional and really refreshing. The pompadom was crispy without being greasy and the onion bhaji delicious especially when dipped in the Bombay potatoes sauce. I would recommend this Indian takeaway as one of the best in Devon. It also has a 5 star hygiene rating . Please like my review if it has been of use to you - thanks

They don't really give you any sauce if you don't ask for it. And some pieces of meat are just not that good. But It's okay and the staff is nice. And it's still KFC so it's still good.
Better staff I hope it keeps it up otherwise I will lower my rating. The last lot of chefs was arogent and rude about customers

"MC DONALD'S"..... Clean + tidy with an interesting tasty menu of professionally photographed food items to cater for the appetite of most people. Don't worry, no Buffalo Burgers here yet, only Buffalo Sauce...Salad options + sides to add with cold shakes or a Hot Coffee...Staff members are polite + knowledgeable + service is generally in minutes of ordering + you now have the option of table service, which helps if you are sitting upstairs + have a large order.... Prices are competitive, as is the ambient modern decor, comfortable seating....Busy at certain times of the day.....Open till late, usually with on site trained security.....All in all a great tasty experience for all family members ...."MC DONALD'S"..@ Torquay......
Does what is says on the tin. It's McDonald's! If you don't already know, it's not the place for you. Management are good in this one, keep things working efficiently.

Very busy when we arrived but didn't have to wait long... No body seemed stressed and were working efficiently... A member of staff called Jack served us and was excellent with my grandaughter who wanted to order herself.... Another customer commented how good he was also ... Well done Jack!!!
Its a drive thru McDonalds, pretty much like every other McDonalds drive thru....what more to say??
